FEE STRUCTURE

• Active-Counselling is a professional private practice and charges for all services. 
• All fees are in Australian dollars and include GST.  
• Consultation fees are the same for children, teens and adults. 
• Concessions are available for university students, pensioners, and low-income earners who can show proof of student, pension, or health cards. 
• Fees are due on consultation day, unless otherwise arranged. 

• The first consultation usually takes up to 90 minutes. 
• Follow-up counselling sessions usually take 60 minutes.

• Monday       9am - 6pm
• Tuesday      9am - 6pm
• Wednesday 9am - 6pm
• Thursday     9am - 6pm     
• Friday          9am - 1pm
• Saterday      By appontment.
• Sunday        Closed

Active-Counselling is registered with the following Health Funds

• AHM
• ARHG
• BUPA
• HCF
• Police Health Fund
• Medibank Private Health Fund
• Australian Doctors Medical Health Fund           

• Please contact your health insurer to clarify your coverage and rebate. 
• Receipts are given after payment, so YOU can claim the rebate from your insurer.

• Telehealth counselling is available via Zoom or Teams. 
• Online Counselling may be scheduled after hours (7pm Brisbane, Australia) with a surcharge. 
• Counselling is offered in video and auditory mode, or only auditory mode without facial recognition.  

• The fee for a one-hour professional clinical supervision consultation is $110.00.
• Supervision sessions that exceed the scheduled time will be charged pro-rata after 15 minutes.
• Supervision fees are the same for in-person or online supervision.   
• Fees are payable on the day of supervision.
• A receipt will be issued. 

If you or any other professional service (e.g. the court, school, doctors, etc.) that you are involved in requests a written report, a fee of $200 per hour is charged.

Payments can be made via: 

• Eftpos
• Cash  
• Direct Bank Transfer
• MasterCard or Visa

• Payment is due on the day after the counselling session, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• An invoice will be issued after each counselling session.

• Failure to attend an appointment without at least 24 hours notice will incur a minimum of $50 fee. 
• Please note that health insurance funds cannot refund this fee, it must be paid by the client.
